Droppings from the Catholic Birdcage: "Sandra Fluke's Rise to Political Stardom Was Something of a Fluke"

Sandra Fluke's rise to political stardom was something of a fluke itself. We know about her because Rush Limbaugh called her a "slut." She is apparently now running for Congress. I suppose stranger things have happened, but it is not only strange, it is depressing for the future of the Democratic Party that a rise to stardom can happen because of one's stance on the contraception mandate.

Poor Michael. He still just doesn't get that his boys' club act, with its centrist shtick of declaring who's inside his Catholic circle and who's ruled outside, is so last-century. While the rest of the world has moved into a new century in which these centrist insider-outside games (which predictably define women seeking human rights outside his Catholic circle) no longer matter.
