Thought for the Day: Marie Brenner on Mothers' Advice about Women's Place

“You will do well in life if you learn to make a man feel important,” my mother said as she kissed me goodbye at the San Antonio airport. “Always let them think they are the smartest.” And this: “You won’t have an orgasm until you find the man you want to marry. Remember that.”
