Remembering Martin Luther King: James Cone and Taylor Branch Talk to Bill Moyers

And, finally, for the Martin Luther King holiday in the U.S., one more video resource that has caught my eye recently: theologian James Cone (who grew up in south Arkansas, as I did) speaking to Taylor Branch, author of the Pulitzer prize-winning Parting the Waters: America in the King Years 1954-1963 (NY: Simon & Schuster, 1988). Cone and Branch are speaking to Bill Moyers about the King we Americans like to forget, who made important links between racism and economic exploitation and called for the total restructuring of American society to address the problem of economic inequity.
