More Lists of Lists: Progressive Victories, Memorable Tweets, and Crazy GOP Legislation in 2012

And since I'm referring to end-of-year lists of news stories (see what I just posted about underreported stories of 2012), don't miss Think Progress's series in the same vein right now. Entries I've noticed in this series up to now:

Sample: "Ten of the ThinkProgress Anti-LGBT Dirty Dozen Senate candidates were defeated in November."

One of which I featured here in a previous posting: Bryan Fischer tweeting, "Why we need an Underground Railroad to deliver innocent children from same-sex households: thepublicdiscourse.com/2012/08/6065."

So much crazy to choose from here: my favorite is perhaps the choice of the Virginia and North Carolina legislatures to inform the seas now burgeoning from melting of glacial ice that they simply can't rise off the shores of those two sovereign states.

And in an anticipatory vein: "11 Pieces of Pro-Voting Legislation for 2013" (compiled by Scott Keyes). Keyes's list is a list of ways in which defenders of the right to vote (which is under assault by the Tea Party aka Republican Party in the U.S. right now) can go on the offensive in 2013 to protect the right of everyone to vote.

P.S. (later in the day): And there's this, though not from Think Progress: HuffPo, "The 9 Wildest Things Fox News Said in 2012."
