And they’re carrying on about getting government out of every aspect of their lives—out of everything! they shout—in a public park built by government funds for the public. They drove to the rally on roads built and maintained by the government, crossing bridges built and maintained by the government, or they flew in airplanes whose safety is supervised by government air traffic controllers.As they traveled and while in D.C., they ate food processed according to government guidelines that try to assure at least minimal safety in our food supply. Their safety in the city was assured by governmentally sponsored police. The roads they drove on and the streets they walked on have traffic control and traffic signs because of the government. The medicine they take and the care they receive in hospitals come to them with the government stamp of approval that seeks to assure quality in health care delivery.
Just about every step they take and every breath they breathe has some connection to governmental guidelines or governmental regulations or governmental contributions. They benefit hugely from the government in every way possible.
But they want government out of their lives.
And God help any sane person who might happen to live in the loony bin these folks would construct if they ever succeeded in getting government off their backs.
