I've been writing about stupidity, confusion, and the "pro-life" movement the past day or so, haven't I?
In case you haven't had enough of those dishes, pro-life Catholic John M. Snyder, founder of the St. Gabriel Possenti Society ("the Patron Saint of Handgunners"), serves up a big heaping dish of stupidity and confusion in this "pro-life" press release and video entitled "Catholics and Gun Owners Can Unite against Obama on Life Issue."
What American Catholicism has chosen to make of itself and its rich, valuable resources to engage the public square on issues of life in recent years: absolutely baffling. And equally baffling, the willingness of "intelligent" and supposedly educated Catholic centrists to hop into bed with the likes of this nonsense.
All for the cause of "life" . . . .
