McCain from Fiscal-Cliff Talks (FCTs): CPI is Off the Table (OTT)

As the year ends some things never change: right-wingers continue to lurv them some mendacious acronyms (like, for Catholic right-wingers, TBO, SSA, NFP, etc.):

Currently, in the fiscal cliff talks (FCTs), it's CPI:

"CPI has to be off the table because it's not a winning argument to say benefits for seniors versus tax breaks for rich people," said Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.). "We need to take CPI off the table -- that's not part of the negotiations -- because we can't win an argument that has Social Security for seniors versus taxes for the rich.”

They love these mendacious acronyms because they're such a nifty way (as in LIE) of misleading the public at large (i.e., the PAL). And they sound so big-boy macho, providing those who employ the LIEs the illusion that they belong to some kind of secret club with gnostic macho knowledge withheld from the hoi polloi.

God save us from your servants, especially when they're Duplicitous, Underhanded, Macho-Boy OverlordS.
